History

The salon started in 1995 when the owner Nellie van Wyk, who already had more than twelve years of experience, saw the opportunity to open a salon in the historical building of the Halfway House Hotel. She had previously been teaching hairdressing and acted as examiner at the Northern Cape Technical College.

It started of with herself and another qualified hairdresser and one assistant. Soon they realized more qualified hairdressers were needed as the client base grew rapidly. After five years the salon moved to its current location, which is a lovely historical house in Du Toitspanroad.

The staff grew by members and currently consists of eight employees. In 2004 the salon's beauty section opened. They are proud to offer their clients a total beauty make-over.
